Dr. Smith received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree from The Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 1998 where she was inducted into the Gorgas Odontological Honorary Society. As a recipient of the Colgate Palmolive Annie Elizabeth “Bessie” Delaney Scholarship Award, she entered the orthodontic residency program at Howard University where she completed her specialty certificate in orthodontics and maxillofacial orthopedics.
Dr. Smith is an accomplished specialist with almost 20 years of dental and orthodontic experience. A strong proponent of life-long learning, she stays current with the latest advancements and technology trends in her field. Dr. Smith holds active memberships in the ADA, ISDS, the American Association of Orthodontists and the Midwestern Society of Orthodontists.
Dr. Smith enjoys spending time with her beautiful daughter Kennedy and taking in skiing and water sports when possible.
